"When my husband and I first found the Deep Forest Gallery, we were in the final stages of building/furnishing the most beautiful log cabin on Vancouver Island. Most of the furnishings were in place already but we still hadn't found an armoire. We'd been searching for some time in antique stores and artisans shops around Vancouver, Victoria and Vancouver Island. Our project was a very special one, so we really wanted the perfect piece. When we walked into the gallery in Parksville, we knew right away we'd found it. Our space was limited, which required us to place a custom order. We also had a limited time frame to work with. Right from the get-go, all of our needs were accommodated. They drew up the design for us on that first visit, then William got to work and crafted the most beautiful armoire we have ever seen! One project, our bed was constructed and installed while I was in hospital, Bill installed it the day before I came home! I came into my bedroom and was amazed, this gorgeous bed was there and the smell of the cedar reminded me of my father, who was terminally ill at the time. It was a very emotional moment and I am grateful that he went to the effort and cared enough to have everything completed in time for my arrival home.
