DO ALL LOGS CRACK OR CHECK?

Checking is a natural and characteristic process adding more uniqueness and beauty to the furniture, 95 % of all cracks and checks take place in our kiln before we craft the piece into furniture so we may place most of the cracks to the non visible side. Checking is a natural process and occurs in all logs of all species but never has any effect on the integrity and strength of the piece of furniture it eventually becomes.
